Ness has been riding, competing, training and breeding horses for over fifty years.
She established Equine Sports Breeding (ESB horses) in 1986 to breed world class eventing horses. She is now developing her ESB education program to help others learn from her mistakes, theories and experience.
The rides with Ness sessions can be adapted to the needs of the group on the day and are can be conducted in the arena, riding around the farm or in the classroom if the weather is bad.

All
sessions focus on her primary desire to help people to develop a progressive transition
from not just being a rider but becoming a trainer. She has called
this different style of coaching, Equi-Schooling.
Equi-Schooling helps
people to establish a disciplined process of creating a solid foundation with
realistic expectations to ensure a rewarding partnership with their young
horse. It’s about understanding the ‘shades of green’.
The three stages include
Primary (from birth to weaning), Secondary (from weaning to riding), and Tertiary (from riding to competing). Each stage aims to encourage people to be more
aware of their thinking, body position, feeling and timing to communicate more
effectively with their horse and eliminate fear and confusion.
