SAM GRIFFITHS


Sam grew up in West Rd, Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula.

In 1995, he moved to the UK to further his career but his parents are now living in the North East. 

He based himself with Olympic gold medallist, Matt Ryan 
for three years before setting up on his own.

He represented Australia at the 
World Equestrian Games in 2010 and 2014, the 2012 London Olympic Games, won Badminton Horse Trials in 2014 and placed 4th individually at the 2016 Rio Olympics. 

He competes around 14 horses each season and when he is not competing he mentors up and coming riders from Pony Club levels to prospective international riders.
