DIRECTIONS: 2 Millards Lane, Euroa 

(please DON'T TRUST Google Maps!) 


 From the Hume Fwy, take the first exit into Euroa and then turn at the traffic lights towards Merton Mansfield. Head out of town for 3kms and just after the bridge over the Hume Fwy turn left into Neelands Rd. 

 

Take the first right into Seven Creeks Estate Road, go up 3kms to the corner of Millards Lane and SLOW DOWN. 


The entrance is on the corner through two black gates (see the picture below).

 

*PLEASE NOTE that access along Seven Creeks Estate Road is narrow and has some severe bends where you can’t always see oncoming traffic. Please use caution and drive on the far side of the road around these bends.

Please DO NOT ride on grass lawn areas!!!

Please DO NOT place manure on garden beds!!!

ATTENDENCE

Please use some common sense and don't attend if you are feeling unwell. Good practices will assist in these trying times and the advice at this stage is to not remain within 1.5m of someone for more than 15 minutes.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We certainly hope that we don't have too but we reserve the right to cancel any event at any time. Full refunds will be given if we do.

 

CATERING

Our communal relationship will only work if everyone pulls their weight with food preparation and cleaning up. There are no mothers living here so please feel free to help. 


DISCLAIMERS

No one is permitted to mount a horse without completing this. Please COMPLETE THIS NOW if you haven’t already done so- CLICKHERE.

 

DOGS

Are welcome onto the property providing they are disease free and not aggressive. Please always keep them on a lead and maintain control over your dog or they will be asked to leave.

 

EMERGENCIES

Please assemble at the nearest building in sight if you become aware of an emergency for further instructions. In the case of a bush fire, there are several ways out depending on the direction of the fire. Please make yourself aware of the roads in the area and study the evacuation options in the map below.

 

FACILITY MAP

This is attached to help you find things like manure piles, toilets and the wash. It is also important to take note of the direction and tracks for the horses and vehicles for safety reasons. This is also online HERE.

 

FENCES

Please note that they are electric.

 

FIRST AID

There are several First Aid kits inside of the small door of the big shed. The red one is a backpack and can be carried by a rider on horseback if deemed quicker. The contents of this kit are laid out HERE.

There is also a form for recording information about an incident HERE. (This is particularly useful for prompting the first aiders if necessary.)

 

GATES

Must be left as you find them unless otherwise directed.

 

GEAR

Please ensure that all of your horse’s gear is in good order and that your own equipment, especially stirrups, helmets (must be comply with relevant Australian Standard ASNZS3838/03), boots, back protectors etc are all compliant and safe to use. You can link to the FEI rules HERE.

 

MANURE

Please place manure into a wheelbarrow and if it’s full, empty it into the manure heap behind the big water tank.

 

OTHER HORSES

Please note that there are stallions on the property. Please DO NOT enter any paddocks which contain horses.

 

POWER

We do not have mains power. We use some solar or a generator. Please keep an eye on the fuel levels and tell Ness if they are low.

 

PROPERTY

Please respect other people’s property and report any breakages.


REFUNDS

Will only be given on receipt of a veterinary or medical certificate. Please see if you can find someone else to take your spot.

 

RIDERS UNDER 18yo

Must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

 

RUBBISH

Preferably, please take it with you and pick up others if found. Otherwise please separate recycling, burnable and general rubbish in the different bins to assist with disposal.

 

SAFETY

Do not allow people to ride horses without signing a disclaimer, bareback or without the appropriate gear or clothing.


SMOKING

Is NOT permitted unless you are inside a vehicle. Please keep your butts to yourself.

 

TIMES for clinics

Will be emailed when possible and can be viewed online when ready. As a courtesy to everyone, please ensure that you are ready to ride on time to avoid unnecessary delays.

 

WASH 

Please be respectful of the dry conditions and limit your use of water. Make sure taps are turned off properly.

 

WATER

We are on tank water only, so please use sparingly.

 

WET WEATHER

If we ever experience wet conditions, please drive on the tracks and stay off grassed areas to avoid getting bogged.

 

WORKSHOP & EQUIPMENT

Please return tools and equipment to where you found them. Respect their care and keep things tidy.

 

XCC

Please ensure that gates into the cross country area are kept closed during the lessons. The cross country course is new and the ground still needs time to settle. Please stick to the mown areas particularly through the creek. Keep an eye out for wombat/rabbit holes in the creek areas. Please don’t jump anything without inspection or if you’re not comfortable with it.
